John Lister, Inc., PC is one of the leading firms in and throughout Copperas Cove, TX. The firm expanded to Lampasas, TX in September of 2019. Our Team
John Lister, CPA, CFP®
John has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1977 and has served the local metroplex in this capacity since then. In January 1987, John added financial services to his business and provided investment advice* and assistance to clients. John obtained the prestigious credential of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in January 2001. Both certifications require extensive education to qualify and annual continuing education to keep the certificate’s current. John graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in business in 1971 while still on active duty in the U.S. Army. Following his assignment to Fort Hood, Texas, John completed studies with the Florida Institute of Technology and obtained a Master of Science degree in systems management. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Major in January 1975 and taught accounting and income tax subjects at Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas, until December 1986. He left the teaching position in January 1987 to devote his full time to providing financial services, accounting, and tax preparation.
Nadine Feild, Ph.D., CPA
Nadine, a co-owner of the firm, not only serves our accounting and tax clients but has been a professor of accounting at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor and an adjunct professor with Tarleton State University in Killeen. She has been with the firm since December 1993. Nadine received her Doctorate in February 2003. Her exemplary educational achievements and thorough knowledge of accounting and tax matters make her an invaluable part of this team. In December 2003, Nadine successfully completed regulatory exams to be licensed to sell securities (mutual funds, stocks, bonds)* and insurance products.
